My mission is to encourage people to ask questions and receive answers that are satisfactory to them. I think it is important to both listen to your instincts and to educate yourself on various options. I am not a medical practitioner and I cannot offer any medical advice or recommendations. I can only encourage people to find the treatment that is right for them. Although I am a strong proponent of natural treatments, in some circumstance the conventional treatments are appropriate. My intention is to help people set their fear aside to enable them to approach this with the strength to ask the questions that need to be asked, starting with "How will this treatment help ME?".
I have listed below a few links that may give you additional information to
what you have already found.
This blogsite is a resource and can direct you to other helpful websites and books. Here are a few:
Article "Does Protocel Directly Kill Cancer?":

This is a good website by Bill Henderson. He also puts out an email
newsletter.

The book "Knockout" by Suzanne Somers has a list of Resources in the back of
the book of Integrative health care practitioners. She also lists
www.lef.org/docs to find a doctor in your area. If you have been seeing
conventional doctors, they will all recommend the same exact treatment
because that is what they have been taught as the "standard of care." I
hope that you will find an approach that you are comfortable with. Listen
to your gut and you will find the truth.
From time to time, people will send me emails in their search for truth. These 2 You Tube videos were brought to my attention by other people and are worth watching:
The Cancer Report
Run from the Cure
One comment on this blog is from V. Annie Anderson's daughter. She made a face book page in her Mom's name to make people aware of the dangers of over-treating with chemotherapy. According to her daughter, Annie "died May 15 2010 after 4 days in a row of chemotherapy for a trace of cancer in a bump on her leg. She was supposed to have radiation only, but the doctor talked her into chemo and prescribed too much." You can find her page on facebook. This should not have happened to her.
I wish you all the best possible outcome in your search for truth and good health.

Of Note...
I am back. I thought that the book would be the end of the blog, but when there is noteworthy information to share, I will be back at the keyboard.
Two people have died very recently. Actually, many people have died recently, including my Dad.
"Grete Waitz dies at 57 after cancer battle - (News | FOX Sports on MSN Apr 19, 2011) ... Marathon great Grete Waitz loses a six-year battle to cancer, dying at 57. She won nine New York City Marathons."
(msn.foxsports.com).
We know that she was on chemo, because she was quoted as saying "For a couple of days after chemotherapy, food tastes really bland, even the best foods. I haven't been sick, but have been a little tired. I haven't lost any weight. (http://www.searchquotes.com).
Grete was a perfect speciman of a human being, healthy, fit, strong. If anyone could beat cancer, she could. But she couldn't beat chemo. Not many people can. She ran the NYC Marathon during the years that my late brother Jack ran the NYC Marathon, and she ran it at his pace, 2:20. They likely rubbed elbows. She was my age. She had cancer. For these reasons, I am somehow profoundly affected by her death.
"The definition of "cure" that orthodox medicine uses is this: A cancer patient is "cured" if they live 5 years from the date of their diagnosis of cancer." (cancertutor.com). Ironically, Grete was cured of her cancer. She lived 6 years from the date of diagnosis. And then she died. She was cured, but she died. The chemo killed the cancer and the patient.
Stop the insanity now.
"LOS ANGELES (CBS/AP) Actor-director Tim Robbins has lost his mother, musician Mary Robbins, just 12 days after his father died. The 52-year-old Oscar winner said his mother died Sunday of a heart arrhythmia at her home in home in Esteban Cantu, Mexico.
Robbin's father, former The Highwaymen singer Gil Robbins, died April 5 of prostate cancer. The two had been married for almost 59 years.
Mary Robbins successfully battled colon cancer through nutrition and alternative medicine, eventually earning a bachelor's degree in holistic nutrition. She volunteered her services at a clinic near the couple's Mexico home."
It makes you wonder, doesn't it?
It is unknown if Gil had chemo. But Mary was cancer-free. Her death was caused by a broken heart.
Mary Robbins took the 'road less traveled' and healed her cancer with nutrition and alternative medicine. Surprisingly, Grete Waitz, the marathon trailblazer, took the road most traveled and died along the way. Just because everyone does it, doesn't mean it's the right thing to do. Safety in numbers? They're all safely dead.
Just say no to chemo.

Book Release: The Cancer Odyssey: Discovering Truth and Inspiration on the Way to Wellness
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
"Author Shares What She Discovered When She Embarked on The Cancer Odyssey In This New Book
More than just a memoir, this book offers truth and inspiration to cancer patients on their way to wellness"
East Patchogue, NY – (Release Date 3/14/11) – In October 2009, the surgeon leaned over author Margaret Brennan Bermel in the recovery room and shouted, “It was malignant.” Her husband then leaned over her and whispered gently, but with conviction, “We WILL grow old together.” That day was the start of her journey through the labyrinth of the cancer industry. And in the pages of this newly published book, she shares The Cancer Odyssey she went through and endured.
The author chronicles her journey, searching both for truth about the cancer industry and for inspiration about the purpose of life in this book. This is a blueprint to help others overcome the fear of cancer and return to wellness, by finding their own truth and their own inspiration. It offers an approach to dealing with cancer from a new viewpoint: it empowers people to challenge the medical advice of chemotherapy that most people have unquestioningly accepted as the only option. This book reveals that chemotherapy is NOT the solution that people believe it is. It explores the relationship between the medical profession, the pharmaceutical industry, and the FDA, and it reaches the only logical conclusion about the cancer industry: it is driven by the profit motive.
The Cancer Odyssey: Discovering Truth and Inspiration on the Way to Wellness encourages people to question and research, and to take their healthcare decisions into their own hands, because survival depends upon making the right decision.
About the Author
Margaret Brennan Bermel lives on Long Island with her husband and cats. She graduated from Marywood University cum laude with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Music. She is an MBA with Distinction from Hofstra University, a 1st Degree Black Belt, and an avid golfer. She previously co-authored management articles published in scholarly journals, and was the co-recipient of the Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior Journal ‘Distinguished Paper’ award in 1985. She is an ordinary person who was called upon to do the extraordinary: overcome cancer and live to tell the story.

"Suzanne Somers. Let the debates begin..."
"Dateline NBC (2/20/11) Have you ever considered 'alternative' health therapies? Dateline examines the highly controversial cancer therapies promoted by survivor Suzanne Somers. Let the debates begin...
Suzanne Somers: A Dose of Controversy"
This is my Facebook posting on Dateline's wall...
In the 1940s, two former General Motors executives, Alfred P. Sloan and Charles F. Kettering established the Sloan-Kettering Institute. In the beginning, it was about the $. Today, it is still about the $. Chemotherapy was developed from the mustard gas used in the world wars as chemical warfare. Chemo is a toxic treatment that often results in death. Non-toxic solutions should be explored. By limiting ourselves to only conventional treatments, we are limiting our possibilities to find beneficial treatments that can actually restore health. The pharmaceutical companies are driving the cancer train. If people suddenly realized that chemo is harmful to the immune system and to all organs, and started questioning the treatment instead of just going along with it, the pharmas would lose billions of dollars. The point is: we must open our minds, and we must question. Our lives depend upon it. The M.O. of conventional oncology is to discredit anyone who comes up with an alternative healthy approach to this disease. That must stop. So obviously, the oncologist from Sloan-Kettering will protect the conventional approach. The show last night did not do the alternative approaches justice because one of network TV's major advertising revenue streams comes from the pharmaceutical companies, as is evidenced by all the prescription ads. We have all been brainwashed into thinking chemo and radiation are the only options. They are not. Just make a Dead/Alive list: 1) how many people do you know personally who have had chemo and are dead, and how many are alive; and 2) how many people do you know personally who have NOT had chemo and are dead, and how many are alive. The results will surprise you. We have the right to demand other options. If people still want to choose conventional treatment, well, that is their right also. But we need options, we need choices.
When I read "Knockout" 1-1/4 yrs ago, it gave me the courage to say no to chemo. I began my own research and came to the conclusion that chemo would not help ME. I am healthy today from building up my immune system, and not from destroying it through chemo. I applaud Suzanne for being brave enough to start this dialogue. It is long overdue. There are smaller biotech companies out there that are researching alternative treatments. One of the biggest stumbling blocks to bringing a treatment to market is the FDA. The FDA oppresses any promising new approach that does not come through Big Pharma. It takes millions of $ to get a drug through the FDA trial and approval process, so the smaller biotechs fall out. The FDA does not allow the research, which is why the conventional establishments can then turn around and claim that there is no research to support the alternative treatments. As long as we all understand that this is a business, a monopoly controlled by the FDA and Big Pharma, then we are free to make the correct decision about the treatment that is best for us. Don't just go along with it...question it. Do your research. Understand that we have all been brainwashed, and it is time for us to start 'de-programming' ourselves. Don't just "drink the koolaid." Just say no to chemo...
Dateline has bought into the M.O. of the cancer industry: discredit the bright young minds that question old medicine that just does not work. Dateline has done a huge disservice by piling on to discredit alternative healthy treatments. Not everyone wants to consume toxins "just because that's the way it has always been done." This is old thinking. People have the right to choose their own health care, and to decide what they will or will not put into their bodies. This is forward thinking. If you want to expose the truth about the cancer industry, follow the money. And challenge the conventional oncologists. Challenge Sloan-Kettering. They are the REAL snake-oil salespeople.

Read first before taking...
If you googled fraud + chemo, and you ended up here, you are searching for answers as I was a year ago. Read this blog first before taking chemo. It is important to FIRST understand that the cancer industry is driven by the profit motive, and not by altruism. Once that is understood, you have empowered yourself to ask the questions that need answers. Find out specifically HOW chemo will help YOU in your specific situation. Find out if taking chemo will make you BETTER. This is key. Most people taking chemo think that if they go through with it, if they take their medicine, that they will emerge healthy. Many people do not emerge from chemo. It turns out to be a slow, painful death. The point is: find out exactly what you are getting into, BEFORE you get into it. Keep an open mind as you read through this. A sea change in thinking takes time to grok. This will radically change the way you previously thought about chemo. Everything we thought we knew about chemo didn't come from data sources, it came from media sources fed by the pharmaceutical companies selling their wares. Start to notice what people say at funeral services for family and friends who died from 'cancer'. People will whisper in hushed tones that they think that it was the 'chemo' and not the 'cancer' that killed the deceased. Pay attention. People are starting to realize that chemo doesn't work, and that the cancer industry has to come up with something better than this. After all, something that originated from mustard gas, from biochemical warfare, as chemo did, cannot possibly be good for anyone. Demand answers. Demand better options. Just say no to chemo.
